Administrative Assistant 2 - Hourly

I. POSITION PURPOSE

Provides administrative services in support of Parish Family 45, which includes St. Joseph, Our Lady of Lourdes and the Proto-Cathedral of St. James the Greater.

II. ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS

1. Performs secretarial functions for the pastor and other staff as assigned.
2. Supervises front office staff at St. Joseph
3. Provides general support and serves as an administrative resource to those needing assistance.
4. Supervises the recording and maintenance of Sacramental records, parish registrations and other parish filing systems.
5. Maintains various calendars for the parish family.
6. Coordinates volunteers as needed for parish administrative projects.
7. Maintains archive records for councils and committees as per Archdiocesan Policies.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.

III. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1. Demonstrated strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
2. Demonstrated organization, technical and time management skills, and ability to re-prioritize as needed.
3. Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Copilot applications such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications.
