Accurate knowledge of AWS standard weld symbols, welding symbols, and AISC or ICBO standard procedures including fillet welds, groove welds, plug welds, slot welds, spot welds, seam welds, flange welds, stud welds and surfacing welds. Ability to demonstrate required skill levels for appropriate AWS certifications. Knowledge of and skill in the operation and maintenance of material handling equipment, welding equipment, and all accessory tools or equipment used in the fabrication process including but not limited to pneumatic hand tools, standard hand tools, and measuring equipment. Ability to demonstrate appropriate safe‑work habits and practices. Ability to understand and follow complex directions, instructions, and/or other forms of production communications.
