- EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Must have a high school diploma or GED certificate. Strong arithmetic and reading skills. Five to seven years in a maintenance related role with experience in mechanical maintenance (electrical experience and / or training desired). Formal training in Mechanical Maintenance is required. This formal training can be either a minimum two year degree from an accredited technical training institute, an apprenticeship training program, or demonstrated work in a strong mechanical role. Exposure to machines, processes, and duties in a school or work environment is necessary to demonstrate an increasing skill level and a willingness to accept responsibility.
Must demonstrate responsibility regarding issues of safety and housekeeping.
Must have mechanical aptitude to learn the technical processes of the closure production department and its related machinery, as well as troubleshoot problems and develop and perform solutions.
Must be flexible and willing to adjust to an unpredictable schedule, particularly break periods, overtime, and training schedules.
Must lead by example in all areas: procedures, policies, motivation, attitude, and in our ever changing environment.
Must be self-motivated and have the ability to lead and inspire others.
Must be willing to accept the responsibilities and demands of meeting production goals at a high degree of standards of quality, and while facilitating the activities of the Maintenance team members.
Must be flexible and supportive of personnel changes which are in the best interest of CSI.
Must demonstrate good eye/hand coordination; perception to inspect finished work and verify acceptability of product.
Must have the ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings. Must be able to communicate with engineers and technical personnel on a technical level.
Must have a basic understanding of the principals of mechanics and electricity as related to the equipment of CSI.
Must actively teach, train, and coach other production team members.
Must be able to mentor others in troubleshooting techniques.
Must have the ability to problem solve at the line and in a team environment.
Must demonstrate good understanding of the principles of OPEX / TPM.
Must have a working knowledge of computer skills including NFI, Excel, Word, and E-mail.

Work Schedule:Â Â 4 on 4 off, 12 hour shifts: 7am to 7pm for days or 7pm to 7am for nights
