Re-Sort Specialist

The principle challenge of this position is to command the re-sort process. The Re-sort Specialist will operate the Pressco in alignment with the priorities provided by the Planning Department.  Daily functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Daily cleaning and 5s of the resort area.
• Change bags, boxes and labels of material to be inspected
• Complete verification and traceability forms as referenced
• Completion of Master Re-sort Report
• Responsible for ensuring all verification materials are available and followed (print plates, artwork, samples, etc.)
• Responsible for ensuring all packing material is available and correct
• Responsible for order changeover cleanout process
• Operate the Cap Slicer and other equipment as necessary

Shift: Monday-Friday (1 opening for 1st shift 6a-2p) and (1 opening for 2nds or 3rds, 2p-10p M-F or 10p-6a Sun-Th)

• Must demonstrate above average communication skills.
• Possesses a high attention span and ability to focus on finding defects.
• Utilizes excellent decision-making and follow-up techniques. 
• Lead by example supporting company values and OPEX principles.
• Consult the Help Chain with quality issues.
• Demonstrate a high level of safety & housekeeping standards for self and others.
• Maintain and drive good 5S practices.
• Perform daily housekeeping duties and audits.
• Communicate with Quality, Production and Planning on daily needs, issues and priorities
• Self-motivated; pulls Help Chain as needed to keep the process flowing.
