Job Overview:

SCATR Corp is seeking a highly motivated Federal Senior Sales Representative with experience in selling advanced technology solutions to federal government agencies. As a key member of the sales team, you will drive growth in the federal market by promoting SCATR’s Data Camouflage products, building relationships with government agencies, and ensuring our solutions meet their security needs. This role requires a deep understanding of the federal procurement process, cybersecurity technologies, and the unique challenges faced by federal agencies in securing data in transit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and develop sales opportunities within federal government agencies, including the Department of Defense, intelligence agencies, and civilian sectors.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a federal sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets, focusing on growing SCATR’s presence in the public sector.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, IT security leaders, and procurement officers across federal agencies.
  • Solution Selling: Present SCATR’s Data Camouflage solutions to federal clients, highlighting how our obfuscation technology addresses their security and data-in-transit challenges.
  • Proposal Management: Lead and manage the RFP process, developing proposals, responding to federal solicitations, and ensuring compliance with government procurement requirements.
  • Partnerships: Collaborate with key technology partners (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Equinix) and federal system integrators to position SCATR’s solutions within large-scale government projects.
  • Market Expertise: Stay informed about federal cybersecurity initiatives, compliance requirements (e.g., FedRAMP, FISMA), and the latest federal trends in Zero Trust, cloud security, and data obfuscation.
  • Customer Success: Work with the SCATR customer success team to ensure federal clients receive the highest level of service, including deployment support and ongoing training.
  • Pipeline Management: Accurately forecast sales performance, manage the sales pipeline, and report progress to senior leadership.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in federal technology sales, preferably in cybersecurity, cloud services, or secure communications.
  • Federal Knowledge: In-depth understanding of federal procurement processes, including GSA schedules, government contracts, and budget cycles.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and security solutions such as Zero Trust Architecture, network security, and data encryption technologies.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets in the federal market, with a history of managing large, complex sales cycles.
  • Network: Established network within federal agencies and government systems integrators is a plus.
  • Collaboration: Strong ability to work with internal teams (engineering, product, marketing) to tailor solutions that meet federal client needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience selling cybersecurity products or services to agencies like the Department of Defense, DHS, or intelligence agencies.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST SP 800-53.
  • Prior experience working with federal resellers, integrators, and technology partners.
  • Active security clearance or the ability to obtain one is a strong advantage.
