Dispatcher

Position Summary / Objective:

The Dispatcher is responsible for answering phone calls and helping walk in customers. This is a service oriented position in which the Dispatcher receives and places calls, answers customers questions, enters new orders, and communicates any information as needed through the organization.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

The priority of a Dispatcher is to provide the best customer service and support to our call in and walk in customers. Through the use of various technologies, the Dispatcher receives orders and enters them into our daily scheduling and tracking system. The Dispatcher must be well spoken and a positive reflection of our business to our customers. This can be a high stress, fast paced, and unpredictable environment with fluid changes throughout the day. With that in mind, the Dispatcher must be able to adapt to changing work conditions and remain calm when under pressure while staying focused on the goal at hand.

Primary Qualifications:

• Experience in a Dispatcher field or related position
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Basic mathematical skills, able to add, subtract, divide and multiply
• Computer proficient with Microsoft Office products and ability to learn new software solutions quickly
• Results Driven
• Experience in the Ready Mix Concrete Industry a plus
• Experience with Keystone products a plus

Physical Demands:

A majority of this position will require sitting at a workstation. There may be the periodic need for assistance in filing, lifting boxes, and other office related activities.

Expected Hours:

The hours for this position can vary based on availability and coverage required in the department. Our phones are on from 5am to 5pm during the week and 5am to 2pm on Saturdays.
