Responsible for fulfillment of mission and philosophy by demonstrating leadership abilities, promoting a positive culture, and participating in activities including, but not limited to, strategic planning and implementation.  
Conducts all functions of the nursing office including, but not limited to medication administration, health related activities, nursing evaluation and treatment of individuals served.
Effectively and positively communicates and cooperates with stakeholders including, but not limited to, Individuals, leadership team, staff, customers, and OCBDD.  
Pursues opportunities to improve health services through the evaluation of procedures and technology solutions. 
Follows established procedures for the department and RVI by RN.
Responsible for compliance of relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
Ensures accuracy in completion of electronic and hard copy documentation including, but not limited to, service provided data, and department responsibilities.
Maintains necessary and appropriate records in an organized fashion, both electronically and hard copy form.
Accurately and timely completes and files compliance reports as required.
Preparation and administration of all medication in a safe and organized manner.
Attends meetings and provides assistance to Individuals' team to improve safety and quality of service.
Perform technical procedures and treatments.  
Assist in immunization program.      
Act as a liaison between other health care specialists and the program.
Adhere to Standard Nursing Practices.    
Provide professional nursing care to physically ill and/or injured, which includes seizure disorders.
Attends necessary and appropriate meetings, conferences, and approved training opportunities.
Communicates and cooperates with other members of the Leadership Team.
Understands and adheres to all policies and procedures.
Promotes an atmosphere of professionalism at all times for self and staff, insuring a positive image for the Administrative Department both internally and externally.

Performs other tasks as deemed necessary by Executive Director.

 

 

 

         

Qualifications

Licensed Practical Nurse or higher, associate degree acceptable with equivalent experience.
Organizational skills, accuracy and detail oriented.  
Knowledge in a variety of computer software programs.  
Ability to perform all job duties of Nurse.  
Willingness to work with others and cooperate with coworkers in team environment.
Proactive and creative.      
Deal with problems involving several variables in familiar context.
