Data Analyst Intern

Position Summary: The Data Analytics Intern at Texas Tech Credit Union will have the opportunity to work closely with our business intelligence team and gain valuable experience in extracting, analyzing, and visualizing data to help inform strategic decisions. This internship is designed to provide exposure to various aspects of data analytics within financial services and help you develop practical skills that will be valuable for your future career.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in collecting and cleaning data from various sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Perform fundamental data analysis using Excel, SQL, and Domo tools to extract meaningful insights and trends.
• Create clear and compelling data visualizations, such as charts and graphs, to communicate findings to team members and stakeholders.
• Generate reports summarizing key findings, trends, and recommendations based on data analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide support in delivering data-driven solutions.
• Maintain documentation of data sources, data analysis processes, and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and continuously improve your skills in data analytics and related tools.
