Job Summary 

The Digital Marketing Generalist is responsible for the executing the company's marketing activities with the goal of establishing and improving its competitive positioning in the market. You will engage and promote our services and raise brand awareness by creating content, participating in industry events, and being present on social media to educate customers and potential clients about our company. 

 

Description of Responsibilities 

  • Own the graphic design process, from conceptualization to final product. Develop visual aspects, such as logos, fonts, and images, to complement written materials for print, the web, and/or social media platforms. Manage and deliver graphic projects within established timelines and budget. 

  • Consult with staff requesting marketing materials creation, planning and development. Understand design requirements and produce presentations, marketing material and graphic work accordingly. 

  • Increase brand awareness by coordinating and implementing marketing campaigns, including creating engaging content that will attract the right audience. 

  • Respond to online (Website, Social Media Platforms) reviews and inquiries.  

  • Liaise with all concerned parties to guarantee adequate planning, execution, and monitoring of marketing activities and marketing events. 

  • Manage the production of interesting and shareable content, such as blog articles, social media posts, videos, infographics, etc. 

  • Maintain company website, ensuring that regular updates are performed and checking content for accuracy and consistency. 

  • Maintain database of images and graphic design and artwork as records and future reference. 

  • When needed, participate in industry events. Events may be local or out-of-state.   

  • Oversee the digital marketing budget. 

  • Report to the senior management periodically about the status of project(s). 

  • Work closely with Corporate Services Manager to close gaps and complete tasks as needed. 

  • Perform related duties, as needed. 

Basic Qualifications  

  • High School Diploma 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Marketing and/or Graphic Design in the energy industry 

  • Strong background in graphic design, with a keen eye for detail  

  • Proficiency in design and illustration software (Canva, Adobe, etc.) 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly personality. 

  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Ability to work with diverse team, third-party vendors, and cross-functional leaders. 

  • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred. 

  • Ability to manage competing priorities. 

 

Ideal Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field. 

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to see diverse perspectives and evaluate situations from another’s point of view. 

  • Experience with digital marketing automation software. 

  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics. 

  • Able to operate with autonomy and to proactively seek additional ways to add value. 

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Working Conditions 

  • Work is primarily conducted in an office environment. 

  • Arion’s hybrid schedule is a mix of work from home and in-office days; currently the standard schedule is Mondays and Fridays at home + Tuesdays – Thursdays in office.

  • Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities which permits employee to communicate effectively. 

  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time. 

  • Sufficient vision or other powers of observation
