Puckett EMS provides emergency 911 and interfacility ambulance services in 4 counties in Georgia and Southeast Tennessee. We serve more than 52,000 patients annually, with more than 340 employees and 66 emergency vehicles. Puckett EMS is proudly accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services, which represents the gold standard in emergency medical services.
Provided to Participants: $13.25/hr. Student Wage, Full-time Benefits, Tuition, Books, Uniforms, One Sitting for National Registry Exam, Licensing Fees
Expected from Participants: Full engagement with attendance to all classes, labs, and clinical rotations; prompt testing for License upon course completion; commitment to work for Puckett EMS in full-time position for at least 2 years following licensure.
Classroom: Rossville, GA
Format: Classroom setting. Mix of Live Instructor led Classes/Labs as well as Webcast courses.
Schedule: Total class length is 10 weeks
- 0900-1700 hours with one-hour unpaid lunch break each day. (40 hours per week)
- 48 total clinical hours on Puckett EMS ambulances
- Beginning Date: January 21, 2025
- Slated Ending Date: March 28, 2025
