Learning Opportunity:

This internship is a fantastic opportunity to learn new software and skills that are unique to the music industry, and also gain both professional and organizational habits applicable to all areas of life. The intern will gain exposure to music administration as well as creative music publishing practices as a member of the music publishing/copyright team here at Integrity Music. They will also receive additional opportunities to network and gain further industry insight from individuals in marketing, A&R, design, operations, label services etc. Above all, this is a rare chance to be a part of a family-oriented environment, of compassionate and creative individuals who are rooted in their faith and love music.

Internship Description:

Add historical licensing/translation info to Box in an organized fashion.

Completion of all back-logged licenses/translations that need to be organized in Box.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Internship Requirements:

Formal Education: Must be enrolled in an accredited university and possess a GPA equivalent to a 3.0  or higher. (This internship is unpaid and for school credit only).       

Experience: Prior internship experience preferred.

Specialized Knowledge/Certification: Basic understanding of music publishing and copyright law concepts. Music business major preferred, but not required. An individual who is passionate about music and specifically Christian music is a plus. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically excel) and research skills a must Self-starter and eager to learn. Humble, positive attitude, who gets along well with others and can work well in groups. Flexible, can handle multiple tasks at once. Ability to communicate clearly, confidently and professionally  Willingness to participate in meticulous, computer heavy tasks. Attention to detail and organizational skills are highly important.

Equipment Knowledge:  Basic computer equipment and applicable software programs needed to perform tasks.   

Internship Working Conditions:  

  1. Comfortable working conditions, handling light weight, intermittent sitting, standing and walking.
  2. Working environment – cubicle office and co-working spaces with some noise
  3. Detail-oriented work requiring mental acuity and accuracy
  4. Normal business hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) are typical but must have a willingness and flexibility to work during evenings and weekends if/when necessary.
