Description

Learning Opportunity:

This opportunity will allow you to learn how Integrity Music uses social media and DSPs such as Spotify to drive growth for our artists, brands, and organization.

Internship Description:

Day to day pitching process. You will help pitch out music for our IMR artists and our IMG artists.

Update artists Spotify artist profiles when necessary

Update artists DSP profiles (Digital Service Providers) with lyrics when necessary

Optimization of smart links on release day

FUGA asset/ project organization and FUGA pitching

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Internship Requirements:

Formal Education: Music business, communications, marketing, or similar study path.   
Experience: A general understanding and personal history using social media and digital music platforms and are familiar with DSPs. Must be able to operate social media and music services on a PC, Mac, and mobile phone.

Specialized Knowledge/Certification: Knowledge of digital music services such as Spotify, Apple Music, etc. Knowledge of Spotify for Artists, Amazon for Artists, and Excel (spreadsheets in general).

Equipment Knowledge: Computers, Internet, Music, basic computer equipment PC/MAC. 

Internship Working Conditions:  

  1. Comfortable working conditions, handling light weight, intermittent sitting, standing and walking.
  2. Working environment – cubicle office and co-working spaces with some noise
  3. Detail-oriented work requiring mental acuity and accuracy
  4. Normal business hours (9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) are typical but must have a willingness and flexibility to work during evenings and weekends if/when necessary.
