Summary
Under the direction of the Director, Supply Chain, the Project Manager is responsible for executing and managing a portfolio of complex projects related to supply chain execution and product commercialization. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project completion, adhere to timeline and scope requirements, and successfully execute programs while communicating regularly to internal and external stakeholders.
Reporting Relationships
The Project Manager will report directly to the Director, Supply Chain.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation
- Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget
- Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be me
- Establish and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
- Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks
- Structure and manage integrated, multitrack performance databases for digital, print, social, broadcast, and experiential projects
- Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables
- Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan
- Conduct risk analysis to reduce unforeseen obstacles and costs
- Acts as a primary point of contact for designated projects facilitating project update meetings,
- and written communication and reports to inform stakeholders of progress.
- Uses designate process mapping, tracking and assigned tools for project life cycle management to meet business needs.
- Ensures time and resources align with business priorities and objectives and escalates project risks to manager as appropriate.
- Deliver results for each project through leadership and partnership with cross-functional teams and by working directly with various stakeholders across the Company.
- Drives process improvement, and adherence to company project standards for assigned projects
- Build and maintain good relationships with all business customers, colleagues, vendors/partners and consultants.
Education
- B.S. Degree in business administration, supply chain, project management, or other- related field is required.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years prior project management experience
- Must be proficient in MS Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Power BI,
- Microsoft Project, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
- Ability to interact with internal and external customers regularly, working in a global environment across time zones.
- Ability to develop and deliver both oral and written presentations. Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
- Proven success working with all levels of management
- Experience documenting/designing business processes, performing business analysis, and requirements definition
- Strong organization and prioritization skills with the ability to manage a high volume of projects simultaneously
- Ability to work on multiple assignments concurrently
- PMP preferred
Physical Requirements
- This is largely a sedentary role.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
- Must have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading
- Must have the ability to travel occasionally by either auto or air.
