Job Summary: The Federal Work-Study Student Assistant for Men's Basketball provides essential support to the coaching staff and contributes to the operational efficiency of the basketball program. This role is perfect for students who are passionate about basketball and are interested in gaining experience in sports management and athletic operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of practice and game-day equipment.
- Manage and maintain inventory of team equipment and uniforms.
- Support the coordination of team travel, including logistics for accommodations and transportation.
- Participate in the organization and execution of team events and fundraising activities.
- Maintain accurate records including team statistics, player performance data, and practice schedules.
- Assist with the recruitment process by organizing recruiting materials and facilitating communication with prospective athletes.
- Ensure compliance with NCAA rules and university athletic policies.
