Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field of study; or four (4) years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
Required Experience:
- Must have at least two (2) years [six (6) for non-degreed candidates] leading IT projects with the responsibility for creating the plan, coordinating resources, working within the budget, and verifying objectives are met.
- Proficient in Project Management Tools and Applications
- Scheduling and Time Management
- Risk Identification and Management
- Knowledge of IT Operations, Systems, or Infrastructure
- Knowledge of Project Management Office processes, communications, and reporting.
- Experience with business information systems or related areas.
- Thorough understanding of IT project management phases, techniques, and tools for managing multiple projects at once.
Preferred Experience:
- Five (5) years’ experience in a project management role.
- Experience with analytics and ERP projects.
Required Skills:
- Must have strong organizational skills.
- Must be detailed oriented and have the proven ability to prioritize work.
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have the ability to work with limited supervision and as part of a team.
- Must have sound decision-making abilities.
Professional Certification:
Project Management Professional (PMP) – Preferred.
Physical requirements
Vision, hearing, speech, and movements require the use of wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Must have the ability to view a computer screen for long periods and the ability to sit for extended periods. Must have the ability to work the hours and days required to complete the essential functions of the position, as scheduled. The employee occasionally lifts to 50 lbs. and occasionally kneels and bends. Must have the ability to travel occasionally. Working conditions include normal office and warehouse settings. After-hours support and weekend support as needed are requirements of the position.

Learning, thinking, concentration, and the ability to work under pressure, particularly during busy times. Must be able to pay close attention to detail and be able to work as a member of a team to ensure excellent customer service. Must have the ability to interact effectively with co-workers and customers, and exercise self-control and diplomacy in customer and employee relations situations. Must have the ability to exercise discretion as well as appropriate judgments when necessary. Must be proactive in finding solutions.
