Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead Sales with Vision: Drive the overall sales performance, providing strategic direction and inspiring your team to achieve excellence.
- Establish sales goals for your team and drive them toward meeting or exceeding those goals.
- Maintain relationships with existing independent sales agencies and establish new ones.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting through CRM pipeline management with a data driven focus on leading indicators.
- Own and maintain the sales pipeline, track opportunities, and include them in forecast estimates.
- Establish and govern the sales organization’s performance management system including any relevant sales incentive programs.
- Manage the usage of all sales tracking and CRM systems.
- Work cross-functionally across the organization to ensure sales objectives and tactics are aligned with other internal and external teams.
- Play a key role on the business leadership team by setting and executing sales related strategy and contributing sales insights.
- Direct channel development activity and coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.
- Oversee creation of monthly sales reporting of sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
Strategic & Organizational Impact: Manage all sales-related functions, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with our business goals for independent distributors.
- Design an effective sales organization including defining sales roles, channel strategy, and deploying resources efficiently.
- Provide leadership to all members of the sales organization, fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance, and ethical behavior.
- Recruit and maintain distribution in all assigned territories and work closely with these partners on large, regional, and/or national account development.
- Create and implement sales training and sales engagement programs.
- Partner with distributors to close strategic business opportunities.
Resource Stewardship: Optimize resources to maximize sales opportunities and growth, making a tangible difference in our company's success.
- Manage sales-related budgets ensuring efficient use of funds and opportunity expense tracking.
- Collaborate with Marketing Leaders to develop and effectively leverage sales and marketing assets.
- Other duties as assigned by Manager.

Education and/or Experience
- 5+ years of previous experience as a Director of Sales.
- Experience navigating and harnessing personalities and diverse agendas.
- Experienced in consultative selling.

- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.
