Your Role

 

As the Clinical Risk Manager at Near North Health, you’ll lead the charge in safeguarding patient safety and advancing healthcare excellence. In this pivotal role, you’ll proactively assess organizational risks, oversee incident reporting and investigations, and drive initiatives to reduce errors and improve outcomes. Your expertise in risk management and compliance will ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, protect patient privacy, and foster a culture of safety. By collaborating with leadership, educating staff, and implementing innovative strategies, you’ll be instrumental in creating a healthcare environment where patients and providers thrive.

Qualifications 

 

  • Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required with master’s preparation and risk management certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience: Clinical background desirable, experience with standard Microsoft Office or related products required and experience in database management and systems development desired, ability to function effectively, independently, and efficiently in a stressful and dynamic work environment. Proven management ability and experience including a thorough understanding of quality improvement (QI) processes, tools, and techniques; quality measurement and reporting; root cause analysis and preventive risk management strategies; accrediting bodies’ standards; and state and federal regulations.

Compensation 

 

Compensation is determined based on each candidate’s experience, skills, and education, within the established range for the role. Candidates who meet the minimum requirements will typically start at the entry level of the range, with additional qualifications reflected in the final compensation package.
