Salary range: $73,000- $ 77,000/ year

PURPOSE:
Little City Foundation provides behaviorally based mental health services to children, families and adults. The mission of the organization is to provide quality behavioral and mental health services to individuals and families who are in need, and to empower our clients to identify and remove barriers to the pursuit of their goals. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) serves as the clinical supervisor for all home-based therapy and ABA services. The BCBA conducts functional behavioral analysis, generates related behavioral plans, and ensures the effective implementation of all in-home treatment and programming for clients on their caseload. As a primary function, the BCBA is responsible for the training and supervision of direct care staff to ensure effective implementation of the behavioral plan, as well as all relevant policies and procedures. The BCBA is responsible for adhering to professional and legal requirements and principles as well as demonstrating sound professional judgment at all times. Collaboration with family, caregivers, and all service providers is necessary to ensure continuity of care.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide direct instruction, training, and support to client and family members during regularly scheduled home and community based           visits.
2. Demonstrate ability to work effectively as part of a clinical team.
3. Initiate contact with new referrals and/or referral sources in a timely manner.
4. Effectively manage caseload, prepare and submit all required documentation in a timely manner.
5. Review and evaluate the performance of the direct care staff member to ensure the proper implementation of treatment plan.
6. Ensure that all treatment methodologies are evidence based and reflect the most recent research findings.
7. Conduct functional behavior assessments & recommend positive behavior supports for children with Autism Spectrum and other related       disorders.
8. Monitor and provide support for staff in use of ABA strategies and procedures.
9. Collaborate with families in the development of behavior support strategies.
10. Work closely with the Behavior Specialists in their provision of direct services, and provide the needed resources and guidance to                assist clients, parents, and Behavior Specialists in the development and implementation of behavior protocols.
11. Duties are performed primarily in clients' homes in the presence of the parent, caregivers.
12. Maintains American Heart Association certification in First Aid and CPR.
13. Successfully completes Little City Foundation required training, re-training, and any additional training as required by Little City                     Foundation policies and practices, or as assigned by his or her immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Certification in Behavior Analysis required. Licensed with behavioral background. Will consider candidates with BCaBA. Experience in evaluation and treatment of children with serious behavioral problems and spectrum disorder required. Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field. Strong analytical skills. Proven ability to communicate effectively within a variety of situations. Ability to work independently. Excellent time management skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is subject to sitting, walking, and standing for prolonged periods; frequently grasps, lifts, holds, or feels objects; occasionally stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls. The employee frequently is required to use manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination when working with persons served and handling office, medical, or household equipment. The employee is subject to assist and lift up to 50 pounds with varying amounts of assistance on a reoccurring basis. The employee is required to have corrected vision and hearing within normal range and the ability to operate a motor vehicle. Must have the ability to perform CPR and CPI. Occupational exposure to blood, body fluids, infectious substances, including communicable diseases when performing personal care (Category III). Occasional exposure to cleaning agents and disinfectants. Residential work environment with a noise level of normal to loud.
