MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor’s Degree is required. An advanced degree and/or certified designation is also required. A minimum of ten years in fundraising and/or corporate development with successful cultivating and soliciting experience, ideally in a non-profit setting. Proven progressive measurable success in all aspects of fundraising. Senior Relationship Manager must have successful experience in managing donor stewardship and facility to develop and maintain a strong presence in the philanthropic community. Familiarity with philanthropic and/or industry best practices. Outcome driven, with the ability to respond to changing circumstances and priorities. Proficiency in working in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects, exercising good judgment in prioritization. Exceptional organization skills and experience with prospect research and pipeline management. Outstanding writing skills to craft compelling proposals and targeted, meaningful communications. Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in computer-based information systems.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is subject to sitting for prolonged periods; frequently walks, stands, grasps, lifts, holds, or feels objects; occasionally stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls. Extended use of computer and typing is required. The employee frequently is required to use manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination when working and handling office equipment. The employee is subject to assist and support up to 25 pounds with varying amounts of assistance on a reoccurring basis. The employee is required to have corrected vision and hearing within normal range and the ability to operate office equipment. No occupational exposure to blood, body fluids, communicable diseases or other potentially infectious substances (Category I). Typical office environment.
