MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED required. 2–3-years in healthcare billing (Behavioral Health/Addictions) experience.
ESSENTIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Must have experience in medical billing, collections and MS Office Suite (Excel and Word). Proficient in computer software and technology. Strong understanding of medical terminology, ICD10, 837I/837P, 277 Rejection Reports, 270/271 Eligibility files, 999/TA1 files. Strong knowledge of Payer websites for claim status and verification. Strong knowledge with payer Community Behavioral Health and Pennsylvania Medicaid. This job requires focus and attention to detail.
