The Surgical Technology Program at Lasell University is seeking an onsite adjunct professor for the accredited associate degree program offered through the office of workforce development.Â

Lecture and lab will be held every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 4:00pm – 8:30pm onsite

- Delivery of didactic curriculum in an active and engaging manner.
- Provide hands-on instruction during lab on the foundational skills of surgical technology including, but not limited to, sterility and sterile conscience, gowning, gloving, table set-up, basic draping, and basic concepts of surgical procedures.
- Responsible for hosting and delivering each class to teach the skills necessary to prepare students for clinical education in the to be in the operating room.
- Instruct and assess all required skills associated with student checkoffs
- Collaborate with the SURG 101 instructor under the guidance of the program director to conduct the skills lab
- Provide positive, constructive real time feedback to students during the lab and follow-up feedback in writing.
- Responsible for setting up the lab each day while the SURG 101 instructor is teaching the didactic portion of the class
