Summary

The Corporate Analyst is a key member of the Corporate Strategic Services Team and is responsible for helping to curate data and insights to help inform the company’s overall funding and business intelligence initiatives. The successful candidate will assist in daily analysis and reporting of key trends to help craft timely business intelligence planning and utilization stories for a variety of stakeholders. The ability to continuously learn and master third-party data sources and tools and successfully translate into our internal platforms is a critical component of the role to drive translation and implementation strategies. This position will help oversee existing Business Intelligence and Funding reports as well as help create new methods of informing our teams on understanding important business and industry trends

Qualifications

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the daily/ongoing analysis of our suite of funding intelligence sources and tools for the curation, data entry, reporting, and trending of a variety of intelligence (Internal/External Site, GovSpend, SBF, IPEMA, etc.) that supports the business and our various stakeholders.

  • Ensures Daily maintenance of Internal Funding Tool utilizing email alerts and applicable Business Analyst platforms (School Bond Finder, GovSpend, etc). Report highlights to Director and Corporate Business Analyst any key trends across Geographies or Categories. Searching and posting of content and ensuring site is scrubbed on continual basis. Interaction with user requests and supports proactive training for broader team business intelligence. 
  • Assist with weekly email push to Internal Users on key updates, as well as push notifications on larger projects to inform business planning and opportunity tracking.
  • Reports back on utilization metrics (Users for tools such as the Funding Tool, PolicyMap and GovSpend for user metrics, training completed, etc) to promote ongoing adoption, KPI’s, and continuous quality improvement.
  • Ensures bond maintenance through periodic bond reports and overall bond roll-ups as necessary (minimum 2 x per year) and supports education of key stakeholders.
  • Creates a periodic mapping of funding data for integrated platforms (such as PolicyMap, Agency Scorecards, etc.) by creating standardized processes and templates of easily loadable data before monthly updates by state.
  • Investigates and curates sets of metrics to be used in Canadian analysis.
  • Creates GovSpend competitive analysis tool and processes to frequently monitor key companies in our space.

 

Provides support for Business Intelligence and key initiatives to support PlayCore Business Units/Distribution.

  • Creates GovSpend Monthly Reporting on key trends in spending, bids, heat mapping, etc. to share out with Business Units.
  • Supports Ad hoc requests and standardized approach around State Level decks and/or other key metrics tied to PolicyMap (or other internal tools) to support the selling process and agency differentiation.
  • Creates custom templates for sharing with Business Units around simple “one-pagers” for key presentations.
  • Assists with the development and upkeep of future Best Practices micro-site(s) for access to current resources and agency support/implementation.

 

Provides business analytic support to the CORE Data Service Lab team to help leverage our resources and ensure high quality customer experiences.

  • Contribute to key CDSL projects, analytics, platform, etc. as needed.
  • Serve as Cross-trained resource in key areas such as Funding, PolicyMap and Mobility data to service customers and populate reports in a timely manner.

 

Collaborate with cross functional teams and external partners to leverage resources, integrate data tools and processes across the company, and gain efficiencies for intelligence. 

  • Supports strategic partnership vetting, integrations, nurturing, etc. for accuracy and sustainability.
  • Supports departmental data best practices and standardization of reporting through dashboards.
  • Work with New Business ventures in key metrics around Bid Specs for Landscape Architect market
  • Supports competitive and opportunity analysis.
  • Supports data integrity and privacy policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Supports other duties and key projects as designated by Director of Corporate Analytics and Business Strategy and Corporate Business Analyst

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Associate degree required, Bachelors Degree preferred
  • Background in research and data entry
  • Familiarity with web-based data platforms
  • Proficient in all forms of Microsoft Office
