Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Manufacturing Production Supervisor to oversee our production processes in our Dadeville manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will have prior experience in manufacturing production and be able to effectively manage and motivate a team of production workers. This person will be responsible for ensuring that our production schedules are met, that products meet our quality standards, and that safety protocols are followed.
This person will also lead team to achieve company goals and KPI’s by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating job results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Promotes the Company’s mission and values-based culture through providing an excellent and high-quality product.
- Safety: Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations by all employees; Monitors all aspects of safety and make corrections where necessary.
- Ensures a quality product by monitoring all necessary standards and dimensions.
- Productivity: Ensure all jobs are identified and work is complete. Plan for production schedules to be met.
- Will address production-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Must be able to communicate the plan for the day.
- Conduct beginning of shift meeting and communication information to employees.
- Identify inventory discrepancies and report any shortages.
- Gather and update KPI metric board and lead Gemba walks.
- Will be responsible for assigning and distributing work for the best utilization of employees and equipment.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor quality and performance of employees.
- Physical Demands: Frequently walk, stand, climb up and climb downstairs, and use hands and fingers.
- Other duties may be assigned by Manager or Supervisor.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in management, engineering, or related field.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence as well as be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability
Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have basic computer skills.
