Position Purpose:

The Web Content Specialist is responsible for constructing high-performing web pages using provided graphics, copy, and wireframes. This role requires expertise in web-building platforms such as WordPress, ClickFunnels, and Elementor to bring marketing and content pages to life. The ideal candidate understands the strategic elements of webpage performance, user experience, and conversion optimization. They must also have basic coding knowledge for implementing tracking tags and ensuring seamless integration with marketing tools. This role requires close collaboration with marketing, written content, and design teams to ensure all web pages align with GTN’s goals and branding.

Essential Duties:

  • Maintain all GTN website content, images, and media updates.
  • Strategize and make recommendations for improvements to GTN websites.
  • Build and deploy web pages using WordPress, ClickFunnels, Elementor, and other relevant platforms based on provided designs and wireframes.
  • Regularly test for functionality and ensure all pages are optimized for user experience (UX), mobile responsiveness, and fast load times.
  • Build, test, and maintain online forms and permissions to forms.
  • Implement and test tracking tags, pixels, and analytics scripts for conversion tracking, retargeting, and campaign measurement.
  • Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and marketing managers to execute web builds accurately and efficiently.
  • Set up and manage integrations with CRM tools, email marketing platforms, and automation workflows as required.
  • Ensure proper on-page SEO implementation, including meta tags, structured data, and keyword placement based on provided content.
  • Regularly test web pages across browsers and devices to ensure proper functionality and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Optimize landing pages for lead generation and conversion, ensuring they align with GTN’s sales funnel strategies.
  • Maintain and update web pages as needed, ensuring accuracy and consistency with GTN branding and messaging.
  • Generate performance reports using Google Analytics, ClickFunnels, and other tracking tools to provide insights on page effectiveness.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving web technologies, best practices, and industry trends to improve performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot basic technical issues related to webpage builds and coordinate with developers for more advanced fixes.
  • Create training videos and SOPs to document standard processes.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong proficiency in WordPress, ClickFunnels, Elementor, and other webpage-building tools.
  • Basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge for implementing tracking codes, troubleshooting, and minor page adjustments.
  • Understanding of conversion-focused design principles and ability to implement best practices for lead generation.
  • Familiarity with tracking tags, pixels, and UTM parameters to support marketing analytics.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, copywriters, and marketers, translating wireframes into fully functional web pages.
  • Experience optimizing pages for mobile responsiveness and fast load times.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices, including proper use of headings, alt text, metadata, and structured data.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure error-free page deployment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced marketing environment.
  • Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new tools, updates, and best practices in web development.
  • Must be able to effectively operate a Windows-based computer and navigate Microsoft Office Suite

Requirements:

  • Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Must sign the Statement of Faith.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent education is required or College Degree Requirement??
  • Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred.
  • Must pass all required checks

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in webpage building, website management, or digital marketing support.
  • Compensation is commensurate with experience.
