Digital Marketing Content Specialist

Position Purpose:

We are looking for an experienced and creative Digital Marketing Content Specialist to join our team. As a Digital Marketing Content Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media and YouTube strategy for all social platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube, to grow an audience, build brand awareness, and ultimately, boost sales. The Digital Marketing Content Specialist is responsible for planning our brands’ social media and YouTube strategy. This involves building out a cohesive plan that suits overarching ministry goals, strategizing tactics to achieve those goals, and generally exploring, testing, and optimizing different social media channels to suit each brand’s audience.

Essential Duties:

• Work alongside other AWM teams to ensure smooth implementation of strategies and ongoing digital marketing that meets the goals and objectives of AWM, Charis, and GTTV stakeholders.
• Manage AWM social media accounts
• Develop, implement, and manage our social media and YouTube strategy.
• Understand the target audience for each social channel, publishing persuasive content that strikes a chord with the intended audience, and is unique to the typical interactions of each channel.
• Define and monitor the most important social media and YouTube KPIs.
• Monitor user engagement and suggest content optimization.
• Manage and oversee social media and YouTube content.
• Measure the success of every social media and YouTube campaign.
• Stay up to date with the latest social media and YouTube best practices and technologies.
• Use social media marketing tools such as Sprout Social.
• Work with copywriters, designers, and video content creators to ensure content is informative and appealing.
• Monitor SEO, and user engagement and suggest content optimization.
• Explore other social and video platforms as they gain popularity and evaluate the feasibility of expansion to new platforms
• Build emails as needed using Mailchimp and HubSpot
• Assist in HubSpot list management, funnel building, and reporting.
• Provide constructive feedback.
• Other duties as assigned

• Thorough knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, and other social media best practices.
• Good understanding of social media and YouTube KPIs.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and media editing software.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
• Ability to manage complex projects independently.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent organization and project management skills.
• Must be able to effectively operate Windows-based computer and navigate Microsoft Office Suite
