FWS - Men's Tennis Manager & Racket Technician

Department: Athletics, Stoller Center & Holce Tennis Facility

Purpose of Position: Support the men's tennis team with various needs with racket restringing being the primary need from this position. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

-Racket restringing: Rackets should be restrung in 30 minutes or less and strings should be straightened before returning to the racket owner.

-General tennis shed upkeep: The tennis shed should stay organized with rackets separated into piles of "completed" and "need-to-do." Trash in the shed should be cleaned and the trash can in the shed should be emptied when it starts to get filled. \

-Clear communication with Head Coach & team members: Racket Technician/Manager should maintain clear and prompt communication with the team members and head coach to assess the team needs for racket restringing week-by-week.

-Oral & Written Communication

General Qualifications:

-Knowledge on racket restringing, techniques, and racket technician should be able to restring a tennis racket in under 30 minutes

-Efficient communication skills via in person or digitally.
