FWS Program Coordinator

Title of Position: FWS Program Coordinator

Purpose of Position: The FWS Program Coordinator assists the Director with planning and facilitating larger-scale campus wide events and initiatives relating to gender equity, LGBTQIA+ equity & inclusion, reproductive justice, and interpersonal violence education. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and facilitate campus-wide events and initiatives relating to gender equity, LGBTQIA+ equity & inclusion, reproductive justice, and interpersonal violence prevention. Attend weekly meetings and other meetings as needed.

Wage Rate: Minimum wage, 15.95 per hour

Qualifications

General Qualifications: 

Required: Interest in and commitment to social justice, gender equity, LGBTQIA+ equity & inclusion, reproductive justice, and interpersonal violence prevention. Reliability & flexibility. Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team. Excellence in written, verbal communication with the ability to communicate effectively with all members of the diverse university community including all students, staff, faculty, administrators, and the public. Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5.

Preferred: Prior experience with event planning & facilitation. Prior study within Gender & Sexuality Studies and/or Social Sciences. Prior experience with social justice work.
