The position of Credit Analyst I is responsible for providing a thorough financial analysis of the bank's existing and potential commercial customers. This involves creating a credit presentation for lenders that includes recommended action. Generally, this entry-level position would analyze less complex credits ranging in size from $50,000 to $1 million. The Credit Analyst uses computer software to prepare credit presentations and to complete financial analysis. Assures compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal banking regulations.


Qualified candidates will have:

  1. College degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. A basic knowledge of commercial real estate and commercial real estate construction loan processing is helpful.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. General accounting, economics, math, finance, and risk analysis knowledge.
  5. Effective technical report writing skills.
  6. Solid verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
  7. General computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
  8. Ability to work in a team environment.
  9. Ability to consistently exhibit NBC core values: Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, and Accountability.


The pay range for this position is $23.00 to $35.00 per hour.
