Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Poly Liner Container (PLC) Technician(s) to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, assemble, and connect poly pipes, fittings, and valves according to project specifications.
  • Use appropriate tools and equipment to cut, join, and weld poly pipes together.
  • Conduct pressure testing and leak detection to ensure proper installation and identify any potential issues.
  • Repair or replace damaged or faulty poly pipes, fittings, and valves.
  • Safely loading and unloading pipes, field materials, and equipment onto trailers and trucks for transportation.
  • Monitoring machine operations and gauges, adjusting controls as needed to maintain specified conditions.
  • Installing and maintaining pumps and generators at job sites.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues, coordinating with team members and supervisors to ensure minimal downtime and disruptions to operations.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring compliance with company and industry standards and regulations, and using appropriate PPE as required for each specific job task.
  • Assisting in containment and cleanup of spills.
  • Conducting routine inspections and maintenance on poly pipe system to identify and address potential problems.
  • Maintaining accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and relevant operational data, contributing to ongoing process improvements and performance optimization.
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development activities, staying current on industry best practices and emerging trends.
  • Collaborating with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and communication across all aspects of water transfer operations.
  • Utilizing common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
  • Driving trucks and other vehicles to transport equipment, personnel, and perform job tasks.
  • Attending and successfully completing training as directed for DOT, OSHA, and safety requirements.
  • Perform standard Liner and Secondary Containment operations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in water transfer operations.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
  • Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
