Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Position requires OCONUS support to the USG Air Force at an on-site location.
  • Conduct audits of processes, products, special projects, tools, and Foreign Object Prevention to assess MQ-9 Program Operations’ adherence to contractual, Air Force, and ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality Management Systems (QMS) requirements.
  • Support the development of quality plans and procedures in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Ensure the conformance to company and regulatory standards.
  • Initiate, review, analyze, and report on quality-related data and metrics from production, service, and supplier or process improvement activities. Use statistical techniques for analysis.
  • Interface with customers as needed to ensure process requirements are being met.
  • Support the development of disposition and corrective actions for recurring product and process discrepancies.
  • Evaluate and verify the accuracy, acceptability, and completeness of quality records for assembly, process, test, mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical components.
  • Manage the quality records control process to assure adequate accountability and traceability.
  • Develop and maintain governing procedures related to records control.
  • Support product acceptance and delivery per established process.
  • Adhere to all rules and regulations set-forth by USG and Air Force customers while deployed to OCONUS sites.
  • Other duties and requirements as identified and/or prescribed to meet program requirements.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Must have at least five (5) years of military aircraft flight line maintenance support background.
  • Must have at least one (1) year of MQ-9 Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) maintenance experience.
  • Must have at least one (1) year as a Quality Analyst, Inspector, or Engineer.
  • Knowledge of Air Force Instructions and technical manuals.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015/AS9100 Rev D
  • Prior experience supporting USG Military Customer (CONUS/OCONUS)
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Must understand Microsoft Office applications to include Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • AWBS Weight & Balance certified.

Security Responsibilities

  • Eligible and obtain (if required) a DoD Personnel Security Clearance.
  • Must have a valid U.S. Passport.
  • Must comply with all company Information Systems security policies and procedures.  

Language Skills

  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret the complex word and technical documents/diagrams.  
  • Must be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing and work effectively as part of a team.

Reasoning Ability and Mathematical Skills 

Must be able to analyze problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  An ability to interpret complex customer requirements and attitudes from verbal, non-verbal, and written communication is desirable. Must be able to calculate figures and numbers, and percentages and be able to draw and interpret graphs. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and drawings.

  • Shop floor environment.  
  • Will be working in areas with risk of injury from electrical applications, moving mechanical parts, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems under pressure and electrical motion systems.  
  • May be exposed to conditions of extreme heat, airborne particles, and loud noises.
