***Note this is for our first shift Assembler Role. Our standard 1st shift is Monday thru Friday 7:00AM to 3:30PM. However, overtime may be available or required. ***
 
MAIN OBJECTIVE
Assembles pre-cut components into completed solid surface countertops and commercial grade cabinets, store or restaurant fixtures. Performs repetitive assembly line operations
 
 
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform assembly-type functions to produce cabinets, and/or countertops, using hand or power tools, in order to meet daily production objectives.
  • Perform a wide array of carpenter-related skills and tasks throughout the production cycle.
  • Operate a variety of different equipment, including saws and hand tools, needed to perform the job.
  • Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the Lead, or Production Manager.
  • Complete daily production goals as directed by the Production Supervisor or Production Lead.
  • Required to follow all company Safety Rules and Procedures. (including but not limited to PPE)
  • Required to maintain consistent and acceptable attendance according to the assigned schedule provided by the manager as well as the Team Member Handbook.
  • Meet departmental goals and defined key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Other duties as assigned.
 

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school Diploma/GED preferred. Less than high school education may be accepted.
  • A minimum of 1+ years of experience in Hand or power tools.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs required.
  • Previous knowledge of tape measure, math and use of hand or power tools required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and complete a wide variety of carpentry and assembler tasks.
  • Ability to work mandatory overtime and weekends required.
  • Must have reliable method of transportation to/from the facility.

  • Ability to assist in a team life in excess of 80 lbs of raw and finished materials.
  • Ability to pull or push the Q-System non driven trolleys to transport pre-cut and finished materials throughout the facility.
  • Possesses the ability to understand and follow instructions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and well with teammates.
