The ERP Database Technician is responsible for upkeep and building the engineering behind the products in the ERP system. This will include but not limited to Part ID's , Engineering masters, Product structure within the system ect.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build, manage, and oversee the ERP Database, Engineering Masters, and Part IDs. Assist and Coordinate with IX Database Managers. Run Reports and troubleshoot issues within the ERP system.
- Analyzing business needs and reports
- Correct glitches or corruptions that apply within the system
- Contribute to complex or custom Sales Orders, as required
- Contribute to the workflow process of the front office, including training on new processes, helping to establish processes to correct bad workflow, or bottlenecks within the system. This may include new business practices.
- Identifying and resolving framework issues
- Assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving related to Cost Variances, Inventory deltas, incorrect data at entry level, and or problem solving for end-of-month closeouts.
- Assist in documenting notes, creating or updating Customer Service, Accounting, and system procedures.
- Assist in the Engineering Change Notification (ECN) process, when needed.
- Evaluate new hardware/software and recommend investments in new technologies to enhance the CFX effectiveness and efficiency.
- Utilize a variety of software tools to facilitate benchmarking, concept design, prototype development, simulation, and testing protocols.
- Participate in kickoff meetings for new business, offering feedback and guidance when necessary.
- Required to follow all company Safety Rules and Procedures. (including but not limited to PPE)
- Required to maintain consistent and acceptable attendance according to the assigned schedule provided by the manager as well as the Team Member Handbook.
- Meet departmental goals and defined key performance indicators (KPIs).
