Job Summary:

Position provides support in the administration of the field employment cycle, onboarding, and personnel record management for the Human Resources Department.  This position will assist in the onboarding of new hires, processing documentation, complete employment verifications, and other tasks assigned. This position requires confidentiality, prioritizing and organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Process, review, and grade motor vehicle reports; record and communicate results.
  • Process, review, monitor, and interpret background results; record and communicate results.
  • Ensure all pre-employment documents are complete; communicate with field management for compliance.
  • Assist as a back up to all new hire onboarding, including I-9 compliance and ensure completeness; communicate and educate if non-compliant.
  • Enter, update, and maintain employee information in the HRIS system.
  • Document terminations in employee record; review for completeness and accuracy; communicate if non-compliant.
  • Respond to employment verification inquiries via mail, fax, or telephone
  • Supply miscellaneous forms, lists, and other information as requested by field management.
  • Create spreadsheets, run queries and provide reports as requested.
  • Provide daily administrative support to field operations and Human Resource Generalists, including special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate would have:

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma/equivalent is minimally required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Field or Human Resources preferred.
  • 1-2 years of human resources related experience is minimally preferred.

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Possess a working knowledge of basic office equipment, such as printers, copiers, faxes, scanners.
  • Ability to work independently, without constant supervision.
  • Must possess and continually maintain a valid driver’s license.
