OSP Close Out Specialist

Surf Internet is seeking an OSP Close Out Specialist responsible for ensuring quality construction closeout packages are received from our partners on-time and that they are thoroughly reviewed to ensure specifications and requirements are followed. This position will work alongside OSP regional construction leadership to ensure our construction partners adhere to quality.

Job Status: Exempt

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all reporting and monitoring of closeout packages for completeness and accuracy (As-Builts, Bore logs, Quality Control Documents)

• Handoff documents between internal groups (i.e. Construction to Engineering)

• Reports project status and performance data as required by management.

• Continually reviews close-out results to adjust by improving process and/or execution.

• Collects and reviews construction drawings, material, and labor tasks for correctness.

• Collects and reviews field photographs and documents to ensure alignment to scope of work purchase order.

• Organizes and submits a complete closeout package per Surf specifications.

• Provides quality checks, follows up on exceptions and develops solution-based resolutions.

• May be required to act as a subject matter specialist to assisting in preparing (writing, formatting and editing) proposals

• Update internal and external project management databases (i.e. Sitetracker)

• High school diploma or equivalent and one to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• This position requires dedicated problem solving, coordination, tracking and strong organization skills.

• Basic Computer Skills

• Experience as a coordinator of some type will be a plus

• Knowledge of Construction Deliverables is a plus (i.e. as- builts, bore logs)

• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Proficient in Vetro or other Fiber to the Premise OSP planning tools

• Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
