About the Role
As our Accounts Payable Specialist, you will manage the timely processing and payment preparation of all designated supplier invoices. You must maintain strong relationships with your internal budget approvers and partner closely with our multiple cross-functional teams. You will also work closely with external auditors, suppliers and third-party service providers. Our ideal candidate is a dynamic self-starter, focused on continuous improvement, who demonstrates a healthy curiosity, high attention to detail and a passion for all that they do.
This position is remote and will report into Lovesac Corporate HUB based in Stamford, CT. Candidates must fully reside in the United States at all times during employment and should have the ability to travel as needed.
What You’ll Do
- Execute end-to-end Accounts Payable invoice processing, including statement analysis, data entry, and business owner approval retrieval.
- Oversee the Accounts Payable inbox, including reviewing, responding, categorizing, and routing invoices to third-party accounting program.
- Manage AP processes in both secondary Accounting system and third-party platforms.
- Build and maintain vendor folders, ensuring all required documentation is collected and organized. Conduct verbal bank confirmations to verify payment details and ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Partner cross functionally with all departments and maintain a high level of customer service with both internal Associates and external clients.
- Execute quarterly projects and KPIs.
- Must meet or exceed all month end deliverables and reconciliations.
- Perform any other reasonable duties for this role as requested by management.
