Education and/or Experience: Two-year college or technical school with business-related courses and accounting background; or equivalent business/work experience.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
Effective oral and written communication skills required. Tact and diplomacy are required to accomplish the job responsibilities. Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to effectively utilize computer systems required for essential job functions, including knowledge of internet software, spreadsheet software, and word processing software tools. Excellent customer service orientation, time management, and the ability to work effectively as a part of a team are essential.
Physical Requirements: The work environment is typical of an office setting, where the employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
