ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Senior Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and fostering memorable guest experiences. This position is responsible for group sales, negotiated corporate rates, and business development while overseeing events and programming to enhance The Parker Hotel. The basic purpose of this role is to plan, manage and control the Sales operations to achieve customer satisfaction and meet/exceed sales, revenue and profit objectives. Achieve customer satisfaction, quality service and compliance with policies and procedures while meeting/exceeding financial goals. Reporting directly to the General Manager and Regional Director of Sales meanwhile collaborating closely with property leadership, the Sales Manager ensures revenue growth, brand alignment, and guest satisfaction.
SCOPE OF WORK + TEAM
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Business Development:

Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed booking goals for group, corporate, incentive, and transient markets.
Event & Programming Management:

Oversee the planning and execution of property events, including live music, movie nights, and holiday celebrations for staff.

Knowledge of travel trade industry, group markets and leisure segment including key contacts that would serve to source business for the property and that align with the profile of Parker Hotel.

Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

Participate in hotel committees, MOD program and task force assignments.

Must be able to effectively communicate to guests, management, and coworkers and read, write and understand the English language

Must be able to work during Springboard Hospitality business hours, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm, while understanding that the hotel business functions 24/7 and some evenings, weekend and holiday work will be required
