Primary mission:
Responsible for managing programing events and ensuring deadlines and budgets are adhered to. Direct coordination of activities to prepare for the day of the programmed events and future, while also overseeing Front of House Food & Beverage staff.
SCOPE OF WORK + TEAM
- Reports to General Manager
- Work along vendors and Area Event Sales Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate details of program events such as, comedy shows, music series, pop up programed events, monthly scheduled events
- Calculate budgets and adjust when necessary
- Responsible for staying in contact with clients to ensure their needs are met
- Book programmed events and negotiate contracts and fees
- Work with partners, coordinators and others as required
- Work with Marketing team to drive attendance to program events through social media and email blasts
- Manage and supervise all Front of House team members and coordinate schedules according to events and occupancy
- Communicate to all team members and ensure team is adequately prepared for events
- Coordinate all set up, with vendors, promoters & Area Events Sales Manager according to BEO’s
- Manage Toast POS for bar and food service stations, with assistance from General Manager
- Give final approval for items such as music and events menus alongside General Manager
- Coach and counsel team members when required
- Coordinate and manage front of house bar and service training and standards
- Maintain an adequate supplies of inventory and conduct monthly inventory partnering with accounting team
- Maintain Hotel Ziggy music equipment & inventory daily, monthly and when used. Ensure equipment is in good condition.
