Primary mission:

A parking attendant is responsible for providing efficient and courteous parking services to customers, ensuring the orderly and safe parking of vehicles, and maintaining the cleanliness and security of the parking facility.

 

SCOPE OF WORK + TEAM

  • Reports to the General Manager
  • Supports Security Team

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide information on parking rates, policies, and available parking spaces.
  • Compare trace reports with vehicles on site.
  • Check arriving vehicles and confirm if they are house guests or arriving guests.
  • Direct vehicles to available parking spaces.
  • Monitor parking facilities to prevent unauthorized parking or misuse of parking spaces.
  • Maintain a safe and organized parking environment.
  • Report any suspicious activity to security.
  • Keep the parking facility clean and free from debris.
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Supervisor.
  • Maintain records of daily transactions, including the number of parked vehicles and any incidents.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE:

      • 1+ year of customer service preferred.

 

SUBJECT EXPERTISE:

  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of all property safety and security procedures as required maintaining a secure and safe environment for employees as well as guests.
  • Report any unusual occurrences and/or request to Supervisor.
  • Read and abide by all the regulations and rules of conduct stated in the Associate Handbook.
  • Must be service oriented with excellent customer service and sales skills.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate to guests, management, and coworkers and read, write and understand the English language.
  • Must be energetic and outgoing.
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to follow directions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
  • Must be a team player with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Must be able to stand and be mobile for the entire shift.
  • Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
  • Medium work – Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
  • Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.

OTHER EXPECTATIONS:

Abide by payroll policies, procedures, and rules of conduct as stated in the Springboard Hospitality Associate Handbook.
