REQUIREMENTS:
Training and Experience:
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling or psychology.
- Licensed as a Psychologist, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of California.
- Two+ years’ experience working with LGBTQ+ populations and/or individuals living with HIV.
- Three+ years' managerial experience.
- Experience in program development required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in behavioral health as well as substance use disorder treatment.
- Demonstrated experience and skill in the training or supervision of licensed and/or pre-licensed clinicians.
Knowledge of:
- Strong understanding of integrated substance use disorder care in an FQHC setting.
- Knowledge of SUD-specific regulations and standards, including CARF or other accreditation standards.
- Electronic health records and data reporting.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Ability to:
- Communicate effectively with providers, other staff and external partners/organizations.
- Must be well-organized and detail-oriented.
- Strong analytical and written communication skills.
- Resolve escalated issues with patients and families.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This is primarily an office position that requires only occasional bending, reaching, stooping, lifting and moving of office materials weighing 25 pounds or less. The position requires daily use of a personal computer and requires entering, viewing, and revising text and graphics on the computer terminal and on paper.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must possess a valid California driver’s license; proof of auto liability insurance; and have the use of a personal vehicle for work related purposes.
