We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our cloud team. The ideal candidate has experience with both front end and back end development, with a passion for crafting seamless user experiences and driving the evolution of architecture. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our application’s development lifecycle. Your role will encompass everything from planning, designing and building to testing and supporting both front end and backend components. With your technical leadership you will enhance the capabilities of our existing platform, implement new features that cater to our users’ needs in operating laboratory automation at scale, uphold the highest standards of quality, security, stability and reliability.
Your expertise will not only be instrumental in shaping our platform's architecture but also in coaching and mentoring other engineers, making you a key leader in their professional development and growth.
Responsibilities
- Guide the requirements identification, software design, implementation, and testing of large-scale features for our customers in the Life Science industry
- Engage in and lead team discussions, feature planning, backlog refinement and retrospective meetings as well as product architecture and other technical decision making
- Active participation in continuous improvement through testing, code reviews and leveling up of your teammates through coaching/mentoring and sharing your expertise
- Help the team effectively manage the workload of feature work, quality improvements and tech debt
- Diagnose and fix production issues reported by internal and external users
