Description

Purpose

This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while supplying customers with timely and accurate information regarding accounts, products, rates, and services offered. As a part of the Grossenburg Implement team, you’ll contribute to our mission of delivering the best product at a reasonable price with the highest level of service.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Service Excellence: Provide exceptional service to customers in the service department, at the counter, and over the phone. Address inquiries promptly and resolve any issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Recommendations: Suggest and promote additional parts or accessories that may benefit the customer, contributing to overall sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Order Management: Accurately process all in-store orders, communicate pick-up or delivery status with customers, and ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Merchandise Management: Locate and obtain merchandise for customers, whether in-stock, out-of-stock, or non-stocked.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain inventory integrity by verifying incoming shipments, placing parts in their proper locations, assisting with cycle counts, and reporting discrepancies to the Supervisor.
  • Showroom Maintenance: Assist in maintaining a professional showroom image by organizing and displaying merchandise in an appealing and customer-friendly manner.
  • Department Organization: Ensure the parts department remains clean, organized, and operational, contributing to a positive work environment.
  • Physical Tasks: Lift items weighing up to 50 lbs, assisting with physical tasks related to inventory and merchandise management.

Qualifications

Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge:

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Basic knowledge of parts and machinery is preferred.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment, contributing to team goals and overall success.
  • Proven experience in customer relations and maintaining a professional image.
  • Basic understanding of sales processes, including the ability to recommend products and services that benefit customers.
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Proficiency in desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet-based applications.
  • Forklift license preferred (or willingness to obtain one).
