Position Summary
The HR Director will be responsible for overseeing all critical HR functions, including payroll, employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and compliance. In this pivotal role, you will drive the strategic vision of the HR department while fostering a collaborative environment that empowers employees to excel and innovate. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in HR leadership, a strong understanding of industry best practices, and a commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive workplace. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership: Experience in workforce planning and aligning HR strategies with business goals. Skilled in organizational development, change management, and driving culture.
- Payroll Oversight: Oversee payroll processes to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, bonuses, and benefits. Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and tax laws, maintaining employee records and payroll documentation.
- Talent Acquisition & Retention: Lead recruitment to attract and retain top talent, oversee the full hiring process and effective onboarding. Design and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Employee Relations: Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and workplace investigations. Foster a positive workplace culture that encourages open communication and employee feedback.
- Performance Management: Establish performance management systems that promote employee engagement and accountability. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide guidance on performance improvement plans.
- Compensation & Benefits: Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain employees. Oversee competitive pay programs and benefits, including planning open enrollment for 401(k) and health benefits.
- Compliance and Risk Management Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations. Develop policies and procedures to mitigate risk and protect the organization from legal liabilities.
- HR Analytics & Reporting: Use data analysis to inform HR decisions and refine processes. Prepare and present reports to senior management on HR performance and workforce trends.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and lead the HR team to ensure high performance and growth. Promote collaboration and cross-departmental partnerships to enhance HR service delivery.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Oversee uniform issuance and maintenance.
- Manage the distribution of company cell phones and laptops and conduct monthly service audits.
- Coordinate company-wide training, travel, and communications.
- Prioritize employee safety, wellness, and engagement.
- Handle unemployment claims.
- Process monthly audits of insurance bills/payroll deductions.
- Track and maintain technician certifications and continuing education.
