About the Role

Lead, IT Platform

LanzaJet is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Application Platform Lead to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple development streams and ensuring the successful delivery of our application platforms. This role requires a strong background in NetSuite, Salesforce, Power Platform, and Power BI, as well as expertise in demand management and agile development delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage several development streams, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of application platforms
• Lead an external resource team of developers located in various countries, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, IT, business units) to identify needs and drive solutions
• Establish and maintain quality control processes, monitor the performance, availability, and security of application platforms to ensure the highest standards of development and implementation
• Utilize experience in NetSuite, Salesforce, Power Platform, and Power BI to guide and support development efforts
• Implement demand management strategies to effectively prioritize and allocate resources
• Drive agile development practices, ensuring efficient and flexible project delivery
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on development status and addressing any issues or concerns
• Partners with project teams, business owners, etc. on change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and adoption of new technologies and processes
• Ensure compliance with software development and data security standards
• Lead incident management and troubleshooting efforts for platform issues
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements

•  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8-10 years of experience in application platform management, software development, or a related field for mid-sized organizations
• Extensive experience in application platform management, architecture, or software development
• Proficiency in cloud services (e.g., Google Cloud), DevOps tools, and frameworks
• Proven experience in managing multiple application development streams and leading and mentoring development teams
• Strong knowledge of NetSuite, Salesforce, Power Platform, and Power BI
• Expertise in demand management, agile development delivery and software lifecycle management
• Experience managing external developers across multiple countries
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to establish and maintain quality control processes
• Experience in change management and driving organizational change
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future

Overview of Benefits

• Competitive base salary, bonus, and stock options. Based on experience, the base salary range for this position is $98K to $129K
