About the Position

 

The PGC Recruiting & Staffing Coordinator is responsible to assist all aspects of recruiting and scheduling staff for our basketball camps. In addition, the Recruiting & Staffing Coordinator is responsible to assist with the coordination of travel and other logistics for all camp staff. You will report to the Staffing & Recruiting Manager and work on a dynamic team of other Recruiting & Staffing Coordinators. 

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Be available to work primarily Monday-Friday from 9 am-5 pm CST.
  • Hours will include some nights & weekends during our peak camp season June-October.
  • Be able to work independently from a remote, home office in a quiet workspace with minimal noise and distractions.
  • Have access to a personal cell phone, computer, and secure, reliable internet services.
  • Minimal travel required (ie: team & company-wide retreats and observe a PGC camp).

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Assist in implementing nationwide recruiting strategies for all PGC camps.
  • Assist with logistical communications with camp staff for all PGC camps.
  • Assist with the scheduling of all camp staff.
  • Assist with travel and logistics required for staff (flights, rental cars, lodging).
  • Assist with and monitor staff preparation and pre-summer training.
  • Monitor all weekly staff evaluations.
  • Assist with approving camp staff weekly payroll.
  • Assist with the implementation of camp staff retention strategies.
  • Collaborate and work closely with all other PGC Camp Management departments.
  • Participate in weekly 1-on-1 coaching calls, team meetings and company staff-wide calls.

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Proven success in organization and project management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience working with youth sports camps
  • Have attended a PGC summer camp.
  • Collegiate basketball playing experience.
