Duties and Responsibilities
 
	- Draft, review and negotiate contracts, leases, deeds, easements and other related real estate documents.  
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as it relates to real estate and property management law.
- Represent the company in acquisition, disposition, financing, and development transactions.
- Define the scope of work, negotiate fees, and manage legal budgets to ensure cost-effective, high-quality outside legal services as needed. 
- Collaborate with executive team to structure and close real estate deals efficiently and negotiate with other parties, working to secure favorable terms for transactions. 
- Draft, review and negotiate purchase agreements, financing documents, and commercial property leases and prepare the required legal documents to finalize property sales.
- Manage due diligence for real estate transactions to include thoroughly researching title and surveying, identifying liens, easements, and other encumbrances, and verifying the legal description of the property. 
- Provide the partners with strategy as it relates to liability claims, prosecuting or defending lawsuits, and ongoing legal rights and obligations as it relates to real estate and related transactions.  
- Work closely with and support the executive team as needed.  
- Maintain organized records of all legal documents and correspondence.
