Stable Hand

Rocking Horse Ranch Resort, an award winning family friendly resort located in Highland, NY, is seeking a talented and experienced Stable Hand for the largest saddle horse operation in North America. You will assist in the care and maintenance of our herd of 120 horses and our entire barn facilities. Ability to drive a small tractor is required.

Responsibilities:

• Daily horse care, including brushing and grooming, saddling and tack maintenance, barn work, and feeding
• Turn our herd in and out daily
• Maintain a clean stables environment, including but not limited to mucking out stalls
• Maintain a fun and safe environment by adhering to all procedures as set by management

Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic, adept at multi-tasking, and a true team player
• Physical capacity to navigate around 100+ horses and ride in diverse weather conditions, and must be able to lift 50+ lbs over your head
• Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver's license
