Clinician – Outpatient Services | Make a Difference Every Day

We are currently seeking a dedicated Clinician to join our outpatient and intensive outpatient clinic team, delivering high-quality care and support to clients on their path to recovery.
What You’ll Do:
As a Clinician, you’ll play a key role in supporting clients through comprehensive mental health and substance use services. Your responsibilities will include:
• Serving as the primary clinician for a diverse caseload
• Completing intake assessments, psychosocial evaluations, and developing individualized recovery plans
• Providing individual, group, and family psychotherapy that is responsive to client needs and based on best practices
• Conducting crisis assessments and emergency interventions as needed
• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and the treatment team in diagnosis and planning
• Assisting clients with benefit applications and connecting them with community resources
• Managing documentation including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries within compliance timelines
• Monitoring caseload productivity and making necessary adjustments
• Participating in inpatient treatment planning and discharge coordination
• Serving as a liaison among clients, families, community providers, and internal departments
• Maintaining clinical records according to organizational, payer, and licensing standards
Licensed clinicians may also provide clinical supervision to interns or license-seeking staff. Evening hours may be required to meet client needs.
What You Bring:
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field
• CT Licensure required (LCSW preferred; will consider license-eligible LMSW or other qualifying mental health license such as LPC)
• Clinical experience in psychiatric or substance use treatment settings preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• A commitment to culturally competent, client-centered care
