The HSE/DOT Specialist is responsible for assisting with the implementation and documentation of HSE and DOT policy, program, and procedure.
Schedule: 1 week on, 1 week off, 12-hour shifts day/night
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site safety and risk assessments to ensure compliance with all regulatory and company HSE and DOT policies and procedures, including but not limited to daily well-site inspections, DOT vehicle inspections, pre-start safety reviews (PSSR), etc.
- Provide detailed reporting of inspections, observations, and incident investigations.
- Ensure compliance with a system for collecting, storing, analyzing, tracking, and reporting HSE and DOT performance data (Incident report findings, audit actions, etc.)
- Investigate and report incidents involving company personnel, equipment, or contractors.
- Facilitate employee drug/alcohol testing requirements as directed by company policy.
- Aid with functional work assessments, occupation injuries, Worker’s Compensation claims, and any other related duties as required.
