JOB TITLE:          Recruiter, Human Resources

REPORTS TO:      Human Resources Director

WAGE:                  $55,000 - $60,000 annually

FLSA STATUS:      Exempt / Full-time

JOB LOCATION:   Northbrook, IL / Hybrid

HOURS:                 M-F Days

 

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Recruiter is responsible for leading and managing the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, engage, and hire top talent in alignment with Keshet’s mission and values. This role involves developing strategic sourcing initiatives, screening and interviewing candidates, conducting reference checks, standardizing recruitment procedures, and maintaining a strong talent pipeline. The Recruiter will collaborate closely with HR and hiring managers to ensure a seamless and effective hiring process, fostering strong relationships across the organization.

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage Full-Cycle Recruitment: Lead and oversee all aspects of the recruitment process, ensuring alignment with Keshet’s mission, values, and hiring needs.
  • Job Posting and Description Management: Develop, review, and update job descriptions based on industry best practices. Post openings on various job boards and remove listings upon position fulfillment.
  • Candidate Screening and Interviewing: Conduct timely applicant screenings, assessing qualifications, cultural fit, and alignment with organizational needs.
  • Interview Coordination: Prepare interview materials, schedule candidate interviews, and provide hiring managers with necessary resources to conduct effective assessments.
  • Candidate Engagement and Communication: Maintain proactive and transparent communication with applicants throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and external recruitment partners to support strategic hiring initiatives.
  • Recruitment System Support: Assist hiring managers with applicant tracking system (Paycom) operations, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
  • Onboarding Assistance: Support HR in facilitating a seamless and engaging onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize recruitment metrics and analytics to evaluate hiring trends, enhance recruitment strategies, and improve overall hiring efficiency.
  • Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with organizational policies, procedures, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other related duties as assigned to support the organization's talent acquisition goals.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in Human Resources or related area
  • Strong technical experience working with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, Zoom
  • 2+ years of experience working in Recruitment
  • Experience in Indeed and other job boards
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, ability to engage and connect with applicants
  • Excellent planning, time management and organizing skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to shift priorities quickly
  • Independent thinker with the ability to think creatively about process and best practices
